Not every mountain cabin needs to be buried in the woods. Lot 17 gives you something different.

Pond Sunrise is a surveyed 0.650-acre lot with a more open setting and a natural orientation toward the morning sun. The elevated view over the pond area makes it easy to picture a front porch or wall of windows catching the sunrise, and the lot also has a unique access point toward the valley.

For an STR investor, the open feel, water view and sunrise give you a completely different guest experience from the heavily wooded cabins. Existing rentals within Sky Ridge Retreats are already producing well, and having several styles of lots within the same community helps owners create properties that do not all look alike. As a private cabin site, Lot 17 offers room to enjoy the view while staying close to the amenities.

City water, underground electric and high-speed internet are available. Sky Ridge is gated with a well-built and maintained internal road system, along with the community trail system, Sky Ridge Overlook, Sky View Park and the Boulder Trail. Adventure Waters and Cast Away Fishing Pond are currently under construction.

Daniel Boone National Forest borders the development, with Cave Run Lake and Red River Gorge nearby for hiking, kayaking and day trips. Across the road, a separate pay lake is also being constructed. It is not part of Sky Ridge Retreats.
